Welcome to the third installment of Guilty Goose Productions' Women's History Month. This week we are showcasing a friend and colleague, a woman and class, Irit Baniel. We've had the opportunity to work with Irit on Woodlands Maple and to say we have a #womancrush doesn't do it justice. Irit commands a room with her level of professionalism and her talent underscores everything else. Read about more about Irit Baniel Studio & Irit's professional journey below.

Tell us about your business, what is Bee Tutored?

We are a creative services agency that specialize in Beauty Fashion & Lifestyle industries. We provide packaging, branding and graphic design services.

Why did you decide to start your own business? What the company's birthday?

I had my “own Business” all my adult life: I was in the business of looking to work in the areas of my interest, looking for collaborators, clients, gigs that are interesting and fulfilling.

I never made the separation between work and play. my work is my play my profession is my “hobby”… In a way, this business is an evolution of 25 years of creative career

Have you always considered yourself to be an entrepreneur?

My entrepreneurship was always driven from the need to work in the areas I loved. I was not always sure how to get there in the conventional way or I was very impatient to follow the traditional path of a “job”and “career” - so I always invented the platform I want to be operating at.

What have been the most rewarding moments if being a small business owner?

Having happy clients that appreciate the work and proud of the product I created for them.

What is it like to be a woman who owns her own business?

I don’t really think about it too much.I always strive to conduct myself in this world as a human first, as a creative second and a woman third.. or perhaps other things before that..(like being Israeli born ..)

I think working in beauty and fashion industry I have at the benefit of being an “insider” a potential client. That gives me another level of understanding.
